Mac OS X on an Intel D945GCLF2 Mini ITX Motherboard

The machine I built is based on the intel Atom D945GCLF2 Mini ITX Motherboard a dual core Atom chip.
It comes as one complete unit with integrated GMA950 gfx chip. Only has a space for 1 DIMM, so I added a 2GB stick. It has 2 SATA and 1 PATA device, onboard sound, graphics, network and USB. Every thing worked on the OSX install, the only thing not working is the mic in on the soundcard.
Breaking the Mac OS X User license aside, this shows the versatility of this intel D945GCLF2 mini motherboard featuring the dual core Atom 330 processor. It wouid be interesting to see some high level benchmarks to see how Mac OS X performs on this board.
It is also not unreasonable to imagine Apple using Intel Atom CPUs in a near future using their own mini motherboard designs. This could be through products similar to the AppleTV or Mac Mini.

I’m trying to install osx on the same MB.
What about screen resolution? I have e 19” widescreen monitor, but I have only a resolution, 1024×768..

I’m running mine at 1440 x 900, just follow the instructions, sorting out the display is covered. It runs 720p DivX video very nicely indeed and processes Hasselblad 3F RAW files about 4.5x faster than my PowerPC G4-based Mac mini, showing 4-cores in Activity Monitor.

4GB RAM DDR2
1TB HD SPACE
ATI 512 GRAPHIC CARD
CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEASE ….
ALSO TELL ME : IS THIS CONFIGURATION IS COMPATIBLE OR I NEED TO UPGRADE…
jatin you can install mac but hacked version for pc its called iATKOS_v7 i havend tried it but it should work btw its illegal to do it!
