PC Watch has early pictures of the upcoming Asus AT3GC-I Mini-ITX motherboard.

This motherboard features a dual-core Atom 330 CPU paired with the 945GC + ICH7 chipsets. It supports up to 2GB RAM, has 2 SATA ports, Gigabit Ethernet and a PCI slot.

PC Watch also mentions the C2N7A-I motherboard based on Nvidia’s MCP7A-LP and with a Celeron 220 CPU.

AOpen has released the i945GCt-DN Mini-ITX motherboard.

This Mini-ITX board uses the dual-core Atom 330 processor. It features 3 SATA2 ports, one PCIe x1 slot and on Mini-PCIe slot, which is rare for Atom-based boards. Less impressive is the 10/100 Ethernet port, when a Gigabit port would have been a preferable option.

The board has a built-in DC to DC converter, and comes with a 90W AC to DC adapter.

Silent PC Review has reviewed the mCubed HFX micro business Mini-ITX system.

The mCubed HFX micro business is a PC system based on the Intel D945GCLF2 Mini-ITX motherboard (dual-core Atom 330) using heatpipes to run fanless and silent.

They found the system be extremely quiet and offer low power consumption, coming however at quite a premium price (~$700).

Asus has launched the EeeBox B203 nettop computer.

The Eee Box B203 uses a Celeron C220 CPU (1.2GHz) instead of the Atom N270 CPU present in the Eee Box B202, B204 and B206, for better performance. Worth noting is the use of the 945GC + ICH7 chipset (instead of the 945GSE + ICH7M) which is likely to result in higher power consumption.

It’s as small, eco-friendly, easy-to-use, and quick to boot up as the original Eee Box, but has a faster processor for all-around speedier performance. Programs start up faster, applications run more smoothly, and you can perform more tasks simultaneously!

Foxconn has two upcoming Mini-ITX motherboards with dual-core Intel Atom 330 CPU: the 45CSX Mini-ITX board and the 45CTD Mini-ITX board.

These boards are similar to the 45CS and 45CTP boards respectively, with the only change being the dual-core Atom CPU (replacing the single-core Atom 230 CPU).

The MSI IM-945GSE (MS-9830) Mini-ITX motherboard, as well as the IM-945GC (MS-9832) Mini-ITX motherboard look like they will soon been available online.

Here are some of the online retailers, prices and availabilty information at the time of writing:

There is quite a premium to pay for these boards, in the $150-200 range.

I recall both boards were listed as “limited quantities available” at PC Connection end of last week. It looks like they have gone quickly…

Shuttle has announced the Barebone X27D with Dual Core Intel Atom 330 CPU.

Shuttle Inc., the market leader in the Mini-PC segment and the manufacturer of multi-form-factor solutions now presents the successor to the successful market introduction of its first Nettop Barebone. The Shuttle Barebone X27D is the first Shuttle barebone to have an Intel Atom 330 Dual-Core processor working inside.

This nettop uses a Mini-ITX motherboard featuring a dual core Intel Atom 330 CPU, Gigabit Ethernet, 2 SATAII ports and DVI output. It is also available as a configurable system under the X2700B reference.

Shuttle has published details on their new Shuttle X-Series Barebone X27D.

This nettop uses a Mini-ITX motherboard featuring a dual core Intel Atom 330 CPU. It is otherwise identical to the Shuttle X-Series Barebone X27.

Other features of the Mini-ITX board in the X27/X27D include Gigabit Ethernet, 2 SATAII ports and DVI output. Worth noting is that there is no PCI or PCIe expansion slot available (there is an empty space on the board where the connector should be).

For those looking for a complete Mini-ITX Atom board, and don’t want the hassle of getting a separate case and power supply, this is a good system to buy. You may even be able to get it as a complete system under the X2700B reference when Shuttle releases it.

There is another Shuttle product in their range - the KPC K58 - that uses a Mini-ITX Atom motherboard. Similar to the X27, I would expect Shuttle to soon release the KPC K58D - upgrade of the KPC K58 with the dual core Atom 330 CPU.
