Portwell has announced the NANO-8045 and NANO-8050 embedded Nano-ITX motherboards.
The NANO-8045 Nano-ITX board features either Intel AtomZ530 (1.6GHz) and the Z510 (1.1GHz) CPUs, with a power consumption under 10W. It supports a maximum of 2 GB RAM (SODIMM), DVI and 24-bit LVDS, Gigabit Ethernnet.
“The NANO-8045 is specifically designed to operate at a very low power consumption (less than 10 watts at full loading) and low heat,” says Jack Lam, American Portwell Technology’’s senior product marketing manager, “so it can be a truly fanless and battery operated configuration that supports multiple storage devices.”
The NANO-8050 Nano-ITX board supports Intel Celeron® M/ULV Core 2 Duo processors with GS45 Express chipset. It supports a maximum of 2 GB RAM (SODIMM),VGA and 24-bit LVDS, Gigabit Ethernnet, PCIe x1.

Portwell has announced the WADE-8044 and WADE-8047 embedded Mini-ITX motherboards.
These Mini-ITX boards support Intel Celeron M/Pentium M CPUs combined with the Intel 910GMLE and ICH6-M chipsets. Key features for the WADE-8044 board are VGA, LVDS and DVI output, while the WADE-8047 board has VGA and LVDS.
Both boards are powered by Intel Celeron® M/Pentium® M processors using Intel mobile 910GMLE and ICH6-M chipset to provide dual independent display in a low voltage, fanless solution. Each member of American Portwell Technology’s WEBS family utilizes Intel’s Atom™ processor to provide: low power consumption; high performance-per-watt advantages; fanless design for mission-critical applications; versatile storage interface and easy data access; and a compact and user-friendly design that makes installation and maintenance a snap.
The WEBS series consists of the following:
- WEBS-2120: based on Nano-ITX motherboard with Intel Atom Z510/Z530 CPU and US15W chipset; power consumption of 5W.
- WEBS-1310/1320: based on ECX motherboard with Intel Atom Z510/Z530 CPU and US15W chipset; power consumption of 5W.

Portwell has released the WADE-8170 embedded Mini-ITX motherboard.
This Mini-ITX board uses the Atom N270 processor combined with the 945GSE chipset and ICH7M southbridge, which allows for low power consumption and the embedded board to run fanless. Other key features for this board are 12V~24V DC power input, DVI output, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports and the present of a PCIe x1 slot.

LinuxDevices.com is reporting that the Portwell NANO-8044 Nano-ITX board is now shipping. Portwell claims this is the first nano-ITX board based on an Intel Atom CPU.
